The first two images demonstrate shallow depth of field. With both I zoomed in nearly all the way with the widest f/stop which allowed a very distinct contrast between the focus and the bokeh.
For the third and fourth images the camera was set to a narrow aperture of f/16 allowing a deep focus. Three of the four photos were enhanced in sharpness, hue, and contrast. The Schwinn Bicycle photo is not enhanced at all which is awesome that the colors came out so vibrant naturally.

Hey Jonathan,
Good job this week! It’s great that your photos are so different from each other. I especially like the one of the guitar strings. Its dark, grainy and interesting. I like it. I also like the one of the wall. Each of the bricks are so sharp.
Check out Fiorella and Clint’s blog posts. They also had some great shallow and deep shots.
Be sure to check my blog out too!

Jonathan your pictures look great! I love the diversity between all of them! You have different location, objects, and colors which just add diversity and interest. I think your best shot is the one of the bike. It is extremely sharp- nice job!
I also enjoy the depth of the tree, it looks like it goes on forever.
You have an eye for photography!
